I graduated with my Master's from the Jane Addams College of Social Work in 2021 and began in community mental health, providing individual counseling and facilitating groups. Group work transformed my therapeutic foundation. I witnessed rapid progress through collective healing, and continue to weave this knowledge into my individual work with clients, highlighting our innate need for connection and understanding.
Clinical specialties include men's issues, anxiety and stress, relationships, life transitions, and ADHD management.
My own experience with ADHD provides invaluable insight into the disorder and how to make it work for you. Working with many male clients in individual and group settings and being married to my husband, an entrepreneur, provides me a unique window into the challenges men face, particularly those who are ambitious and driven by success. I enjoy helping high-achieving men dig deeper to reduce stress, understand themselves and their needs, and create more balance in their lives.
I am a Chicagoan and live with my husband and blue heeler/lab mix, Lumi. When not in session I enjoy eating and cooking good food, travel, photography, exploring the city, and spending quality time with loved ones.

FAQ's
What kind of therapy do you provide?
I work with adult individuals across the lifespan and specialize in a unique blend of CBT, mindfulness, existential and relational therapy, and psychodynamic influences.
Can you share a little about your approach?
The therapeutic relationship is key. Once I have established a safe and welcoming space, I help you understand how our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence one another. I encourage curiosity and self-compassion as we work towards your goals, and gently challenge you when needed. I believe mindfulness plays an essential role in emotional balance and showing up to our lives fully.

While growth can be uncomfortable, therapy should feel like a safe space to be yourself and feel heard. I know when to listen vs. ask questions and reflect, and readily offer practical strategies to implement both in and outside of session.

What insurance do you take?
Aetna, Anthem EAP, Behavioral Health, BCBS of Illinois, BCBS of Massachusetts, Carelon, and Cigna.

For out of network clients looking to work with me, I am able to provide superbills for you to submit to your insurance.

What's better, in person or virtual? This entirely depends on the individual and does not make or break effective therapy. I suggest in person for those who lack privacy at home, or want an environment with less distractions to help them be fully present. Each offer unique benefits and I enjoy providing both to best suit the needs of my clients.
